December 28, 200817 yr I've another older PC which does not have a DVD burner and I'm looking to install one. Now I know I could just get an external one but I have no need for portability. However, a cheap option is the best solution. So, internal or external ? I'm guessing internal is cheaper. Any makes to consider ? Any makes to avoid ? Anything else I should consider. Basically for storing photos and burning some downloads.

December 28, 200817 yr Katana, Looking at an old post regarding DVD burner question, you did suggest Pioneer to me. Few month ago, I bought a DVD machine of this brand and happy with it. I contact Pioneer Thailand who told me they do not have / import the DVD burner but perhaps I will be able to get it from other source (pantip) When I was in Australia, I find a external pioneer for under $100 Au and it is good.
