Hello, I am heading to thailand mid January, we live near Sakhon nakhon, i am a keen amature photographer, and would love to hear from anybody who might know where i could get some wildlife , snake , lizard photography, in or around the Issan reagon, we have a car , so can travel, if anybody would like to see some of my photographs of Issan and it,s wildlife, just go to flickr and type in john11k, Thanks so much rolleyes.gif, John

some very nice work you have there on Flickr.. :o

From that location, you're fairly close to Nam Nao National Park.. an excellent place & one of my favourites in all Thailand. Highly recommended.

Also, Phu Khieo Wildlife Sanctuary is nearby. Never been there though, but i'm told its good with virtually everything you may see at Nam Nao + a lake with all that might attract..

Of course, if you want to drive that little bit more.. The 'king', Khao Yai isn't that far away either.. Though an overnighter here would be better..
