kurnell
I've read that there will be a new dept dealing with consumer complaints coming soon to Thailand. Anyone know of how to deal with companies that do not live up to what they advertise other than contacting a lawyer? Sort of like what the labour dept does for employees. Cheers
Tywais
I believe the Consumer Protection Board of Thailand has been around since 1997. Not sure if you mean something new is coming beyond this dept.

su-b-doo
I believe the Consumer Protection Board of Thailand has been around since 1997. Not sure if you mean something new is coming beyond this dept. Correct, but a complete waste of time, but to take any matter to court you must go through the several trips and sit like a lemon, while they discuss what they had for lunch, while picking their nose

I'm not sure how to read this one? Either you have ordered over 12 pizzas and they have all been crap and you have tried each time to get your money back and failed? or you have tried to get your original pizza order money back over 12 times? If its the first then I have to ask WHY ???? After 1 time that would be it no more custom. If its the second then Jeez guy what's a pizza cost these days 300 400 baht ?????? is winding yourself up and spending time and effort to try to bring this company to boot and threatening violence on posters here worth 400 baht ????? This is Thailand unless you had not realised. They dont work to the same standards as back home. Just dont ever use them again and get on with your life. Its a waste of time!
