I am not anymore able to open pictures by simply double click on them

and even if mark them, right click on them, choosing options, what programm I want to use to watch them -

windows foto and fax viewer for instant -

it does not come up anymore !

preview is not working anymore ....

nero photosnap says, it can not open the picture ...

have anybody an idea, what is going on with my computer?
