Having booked several months in advance I was sitting back and looking forward to seeing my parents in Feb. Just as a precaution I thought i'd check the flights again as If the return leg has a problem I'll miss the big flight home. Shock Horror not only has the return leg been zapped but even the inbound flight too! I just wonder when they would have informed me, 2 days before like they normally do? they have an excellent e service where you can change flights but it does not seem to recognise when a flight disappears though it recognises the booking and shows the zapped flights, I just hope they get back to me quick , so if your watching BKK AIR get your <deleted> in gear and get back to my email pronto, i'm not calling thailand that is for sure. I checked my April flights and they seem ok which is a surprise as i thought it would be busier in feb than april and that is where the cuts would be made.

Just a heads up in case you have booked and are feeling comfortable with your arrangements.

Cheers

If you are in the UK and not calling Thailand because of the cost of the call (don't blame you at BT rates), you may like to try this number 08442009898 - wait for the voice and then dial the full international Thai number (including mobiles) followed by the # key.

The cost is only half a penny per minute.

i think, its better you send an email-

wait 10 days until they answer, but then you get a new flightplan.

thanks for the information i'll definitely phone tomorrow if there is no response as the last flight is full on the 22nd feb except for the 4400baht seats! think i'd rather get an earlier flight and spend the saved cash on some beers at the airport :o never knew they had a uk office that's great to know.

they did the same to me and did not inform me until i showed up, then put me on a flight 4 hours later and gave me free vouchers for something i will never do.

i woke at 5 am to make a boat that would deliver me early for my flight. i could have woken 4 hours later and taken another boat entirely.

the last time it happened i took a speedboat for 3500 baht only to find out i had a 4 hour wait and could have taken a regular ferry.

i simply do not feel the love.

well they replied this morning and have put me on the last flight which showed as full so suspect a lot of people must have been bumped onto this flight which is ok as long as it goes! still doesn't show on my booking form though, will definitely have to reconfirm the day before and do the online check in in case they have over booked the flight which wouldn't surprise me. Good they responded quick though. :o

I was asked for my credit card when i came in feb but i didn't have it as BarclayCard bought Morgan Stanley last year due to the Credit crunch and i was therefore issued with a shiny new barclaycard and the morgan stanley cancelled. I was aware of the showing your credit card but i booked the bkk flight in june last year for november then had to change due to the yellow t shirt party sit in, to feb. I had my barclaycard with my name on and he still wouldn't let me on, i can understand it being booked in a completely different persons name but when you can show your passport and other cards in your name this was a bit much as i'm sure if any fraud had been committed it would have reared its head within 9 months of the original purchase!.

Anyway he did the usual and asked me to go to bookings desk cancel ticket(after all the crap i'd already had with this ticket see above) and repurchase so off i trudged not bothering to explain the circumstances i'd been travelling 24hrs and could do without any hassle. They assured me the morgan stanley card would be credited back within 3 weeks and then recharged me at the extortionate rate 8700bht i paid for the ticket in the first place even though they were now offering the thanks fares (and still are until end of march) i was annoyed with this as it was a new transaction so therefore current fares should apply. To compound this my refund still hasn't arrived and i've have to ask barclaycard to do an investigation(the morgan stanley account stays open for 1 year for situations such as this apparently so it should have come grr).

Thanks BKK Air a truely boutique experience i'm having.
