Male Volunteers Wanted In Ao Makham

Recommended Posts

This is from my Thai colleague's brother, who's helping some folks in Ao Makham near Ta Rue Nam Luk pier (Cape Panwa, Phuket).

Apparently, 400 bodies have washed up there.

Many male volunteers wanted to remove the bodies ASAP today.

Please check with radio, tv, etc. to verify or go there.

The time I got this message is Tue 28 Dec 4.40pm.

Pls pass this to those you know in that area and ask them to check it out/ help.

Peace.

Red

I have no doubt to believe that the numbers maybe true.. but sometimes, people panic and the numbers get higher and higher.

A male colleague of mine is going down to have a look. If it's true, he'll give me call.

Otherwise, I'll have to ask one of you moderators to delete this post due to inaccuracy.

In the meantime, help is needed.

Pls pass the message around or go and check it out to verify this thread.

I'll leave the topic as nothing is confirmed except for volenteers are needed to help out.

Updates (unconfirmed) - but are just SMS and calls from those who are there.

Boat is coming from Phi Phi.

1. Boat may be diverted to Krabi instead. So far they are only taking 3 bodies up.

2. It is the Ao Makham deep sea port (left side on the way to Cape Panwa hotel).

3. Another ferry is arriving

4. Not sure volunteers are needed at this point
