Macbookpro Drops Tv Forum Connections, Crashes Firefox

I'm a newbie who's having a problem. I've got a 1-year-old MacBookPro running the latest version and generally access the forums' topics via the RSS feed. With increasing frequency, when I attempt to access topics, Firefox crashes. This is the only time there's a problem with FF, so I'm guessing there's something that the two together don't like. Any help would be greatly appreciated, cuz I really enjoy the forums but can't stand having the FF crashes! TIA

What version of Firefox? I have 3.0.5 currently and have no problem with RSS feeds (although I don't use TV RSS feed).

Is there any info in the system logs or crash log?

Why not just use Safari for the TV forums? The RSS reader in Safari is much better than FF, I think...
