Richb2004v2
I have looked through a few pages of this section but have been unable to find the answer to my question, although I am sure it will be here somewhere. What is the situation regarding the 90 days in 6 months scenario? I heard that it had been canceled or at least changed. Is this true? I've had two 30 day stamps in the last six months and will be leaving soon only to return after a couple of weeks. Could someone either fill me in or direct me to the relevant pages. Thank you. beechguy
Yes, doesn't apply anymore. You can take a look at Sunbelt Asia's translation here. http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/post-a70713-.htmls
Lite Beer
Yes it has gone. You only get 30 days at the airport. If entering at a border checkpoint you get 15 days.
Mario2008
It is gone, but you now only get 30 days when you enter by air. If you enter Thailand at a land border you only get 15 days. Edited January 15, 2009 by Mario2008
Richb2004v2
Thats great. I only stay for 28 days at a time, but was going to have to make a visit outside for a new 1 year visa. No need for that anymore.
