chivo Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 if your employment contract stated that you must give 3 months notice before leaving, what action can the company take if you stopped coming in after 1 month? is there legal action they can take? or is it just that you'd burn your bridge with that employer etc?
Boater Posted January 19, 2009 Posted January 19, 2009 i wouldnt worry, an employeement contract means zero in thailand anyway. how long you worked for them?
chivo Posted January 21, 2009 Author Posted January 21, 2009 lets assume 3 to 4 years... would that make a difference?

It depends upon what your contract says. In the section where it calls out the requirement for 3 months notice, are there any words such as "or pay in lieu of"?
chivo Posted January 26, 2009 Author Posted January 26, 2009 no, op, no words stating any ramification.
