I know farang get ripped off big time for the tea money and taxes, but with the help of her ex Thai husband in BKK can she get around this do you think? Anyone any experience of this? Thanks! Anyone any experience of this? Thanks! Only if whe owns the car for at least 3 year in her name and only for her, if she moves permanent back to Thailand. But in practic i never hear of anyone who can doo it this way. Importing a car is absolutely not possibile unless you are willing to pay very high amount of Tax. Just forget it.
