ozymandious
If you leave the kindom of thailand. your tourist visa extension is null and void. you can however apply, BEFORE LEAVING, for a re-enty permit which costs about 1,000THB This will allow you to re-enter the kingdom with your visa intact untill the 13th of Feb. if you leave and your extension is nullified, you may be able to re-enter the county as a tourist again being given the default allotted amount of time is for your nationality and what ever the Thai immigration decree they will give at land boarder crossings (this week) I don't remember if this is the current fact or not, but down here in Phuket the popular visa run is to renong/burma recently there has been talk of only giving 2 weeks on arrival instead of the usually 30 days. Like i said i'm not sure what the current situation is. Other TV members please chime in and/or correct as needed. -Ozy
ubonjoe
You can get a re-entry permit at immigration for 1000 baht. It would allow you to re-enter and stay until Feb. 13. If you enter at a border crossing without a visa you will get a 15 day permit to stay.
