After all the bad things that have fauted all people, let me wish wish the people who have sufered so much so much better for the next year.

I still don't see why Thaksin had to cancel it because had there been a terrorist attack the attitude would have been to carry on and not show defeat by cancelling the new year celebrations.

The cancelation of new year is not a move one would deem 'positive', however, I for one hope that the new year brings recovery and a new start to those affected.

I can't be any more optomistic than that but one has to start somewhere.
