Lost Bank Passbook

Featured Replies

Today I lost my bookbank when I was around in BKK, I called my branch KBank and they told me to go to report the lost to police station, then I asked them account number, as seen as I cannot remember it and they... told me that they cannot give me any info about account without passbook!

So they just told me to report to police station without saying them account number, is it possible in your opinion?

Thanks for your help!!! :o

Withdraw some money from ATM and ask for slip.

Account number is on there.

From recollection, I don't think the whole number is printed on the slip. But may be totally wrong, and I am not about to go and try it....

sounds very reasonable to me. I would be very worried if they just gave this information out over the phone to any old Tom, Dick or Harry.

Visit the branch with your passport and they will be more likely to tell you.

I had the same problem and I just showed the police my ATM card Passport and withdrawl slip and he wrote a report and I went to bank and they made me a new passbook.

I lost my passbook a couple of years ago. Called he number on the back of my ATM ad told them to freeze the account. I then went and made a police report using my passport and ATM, Then took it to the bank and they helped to open a new account and transfers my funds to my new account.

This was with Siam Commercial...
