JohnC Posted January 29, 2009 Posted January 29, 2009 There is an curved arrow on the toolbar which takes you back to the previous action.

Thanks to all the replies. This answer is closest to what I was trying to achieve, similar to pressing Shift F5. Ctrl Z or Undo works, BUT only after immediately creating the hyperlink. If one clicks on hyperlinks at a later date, say when viewing a finished doc, jumps to the linked page in same document, the cursor does not return to the original place when pressing Ctrl Z, (it also Undo's the last edit, something Shift F5 does not) unless I am doing something wrong. Using Word 2007 with Vista PC. On my version I don't see any back arrows mentioned in Outline view, though surely a simple Back option is the simplest way to navigate with hyperlinks, wonder why i cannot find one?
Daffy D Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 Right click on the skinny toolbar on the top right corner next to the word symbol to bring up a menu with choices for undo as well as other options.
