After upgrading from indi to premier maxnet service, I noticed in the small Thai print at the bottom of the products/services offered that premier offers what looks like dial up back up for when your ADSL goes down....which is a lot for me being 4.5 km from the junction.

has anyone tried this service?? or am I reading this correctly??

I can see that the cut and paste in Thai worked....

so my questions are.

Is anyone using it??

Is it free??

is it reliable and at least as fast as dial up??

and how does the set-up work?? physical [just plug in a phone line to the back of my pc?] and is there any configuring??
