She has a small restaurant at the place she makes pies that serves all the pies with chips and peas, plus a few other options. Pies have great flaky pastry. Best on the island. Give Ting Tongs on Nanai a try they think they still do them but not been there for a long time. Ping Posted February 2, 2009 Share Posted February 2, 2009 (edited) The steak and kidney pies at the Islander are terrific - but the gravy is inconsistent (sometimes very watery).
