I have a retirement extension and deal with Soi Suan Plu, and have for the first time just moved. I know I have to inform immigration but here are my questions:

1) Can this be done by phone, or must I do it personally?

2) If by phone - which of the many numbers I've seen listed do I contact? I heard there was a 4 digit direct number.

3) What documents, if any, do they want?

4) Anything else I should be aware of?

The law states that you have to do this within 24 hours. However , hardly anyone bothers, most Immigration Offices do not enforce it, in fact many do not even know of it's existence and will probably throw it in the bin.

This is the form if you want to comply.

You will also need a Residents Certificate. Form for this.
