13 Lampang districts declared drought disaster zones

LAMPANG: -- The provincial administration of this northern province Wednesday declared its 13 districts drought disaster zones.

Lampaing Governor Amornphan Nimanan said the declaration would allow the province administration to provide urgent assistance to villagers in the districts.

The districts are Muang, Hang Chat, Muang Pan, Jae Hom, Wang Nua, Ngao, Mae Tha, Mae Moh, Koh Kha, Toen, Sobprab, Serm Ngarm, and Mae Prik,

The drought affected 312,396 people from 95,688 families in 695 villages.
