Is the warranty an international warranty??

If not I think that (a) you will find it difficult to find anyone willing to do the work (on the basis of the warranty) and ( if you have the work done by a non Toshiba dealer you can kiss the warranty goodbye (unless Toshiba authorise the work before hand)

I would recommend you to take your toshiba laptop to Sahaviriya or SVOA located by the left on the way to Chang Phuak Gate. (Sriphum Road)

I think that you may have to send it down to Toshiba in Bangkok for repair, hopefully it will be under int. warrenty. Check up on the Toshiba web site, that should tell you where you can get it repaired, but I don't think there is anywhere in CM.

I wouldn't be surprised if the warranty agent is Chi Chang Computer. They seem to be the distributor in Chiang Mai for most of the major brands.
