Free Phone Calls For 10 Minutes

Featured Replies

Check out http://www.poketalk.com/.

You have to register first, but then you can get a free 10 minute call

from your phone to many countries in the world.

It was mentioned on the BBC Click TV programme today. :o

You're FULL OF IT astral! (Good information that is). THANKYOU!

I wonder if registering with them makes you subject to their spamming of your phone & email accounts? Just a thought.

Cool, cheers astral.

I think that maybe a few more mum's will be getting Western Union requests now.

Ah! Thanks Astral - now I remember why I have "poketalk.com" scribbled on a piece of paper next to my PC. :o

I got free call(Domestic) all days long on my birthday from DTAC. Thank you DTAC> :D:D:D:o

Ha...obviously they make money from ads. I clicked the link and got this message:

Whoops - there seems to be a problem...

PokeTalk is an Ad-Supported service,

and we have detected that you may have plugins in your browser which disable the display of advertisements.

Please disable these plugsins and try again.

It's a bit daft. They won't let me do anything on their site until I switch off my ad blocker.

Wow, a site offering free phone calls that makes money from ads and its daft that they want you to see their ads. :o

No, daft that they won't let me use their site unless I see their ads. I run an ecommerce website and I do think that it's daft they won't let a potential customer look at their site unless their ads are being displayed. I'm always looking at cheap ways to phone back to Ireland and followed the link. I actually left the site when they would allow me access due to adblock being active. I could disable adblock and view the site or they could just let me use their site with AdBlock active. We had our choice I chose to leave, they lost a potential customer.

Anyway Ireland/France in on (6 Nations). I'm off.

I too would like something for absolutely nothing. :o

And don't forget to top up on your birthday with the biggest value card you can find. They'll give you double the money! (500 baht max, I think).

I don't think it's daft. I think you're in the minority here, matey. :o

Their website lists the countries from which free calls are available and Thailand is NOT on the list.

Yes, only 13 countries and as you say not LOS!! HMMM!! :o:D:D:D

On the face of it, it looks like free phone calls from a UK landline to a Thai landline or mobile.

But what happens AFTER the 10 minute call?

Do you have to re-register with a new email address and password?
