Tweaking The Power Of A Honda Phantom 200

Hi George

I also have a Phantom Fire edition, I have read somewhere that there is a sporty cam that can be fitted, there are also some threads here on TV that enquire about re-boring. I also read a review, if you google this Honda Shadow TA200 you should get it. One genius suggested removing the restrictor caps from the exhaust, now I am not an expert on a single cylinder engine but I do know that with modern engines the inlet and exhaust manifold pressure is important for the smooth running and balance of the engine so I don't think I would go down that route. I have just accepted that it is what it is, am due to have a service soon so will make enquiries from our Honda dealer here in Nong Phai if anything can be done.

Cheers

Chris
