Moog, why don't you do a google search and find out what else the Burmese are guilty of according to Thaksin, including one Karen that is still in jail even though he was cleared of a murder committed by a Thai.

Truth be known they (if illegal in Thailand) would run a mile from any public event.

Sad to think that your own nationals would loot - therefore blame the poor neighbour country's illegals........

and I'm getting very tired of reading 'reputable' international media claiming massive cover-ups of devastation here in Myanmar, with death tolls supposedly much higher than official reports.

Myanmar was VERY lucky not to have suffered the same fate as southern Thailand. I say this from first hand knowledge.
