Hi all,

I have been trying to find the best beach to visit that is close enough to Bangkok, say within 2 hours or so. The key criteria are that it is within easy access of Bangkok, it is quiet and a good place to relax and there is an absense of hundreds of jet-ski's etc. I've looked through other threads and the only two i have identified so far are:

Koh Man Nok

Bang Saen

Despite me listing an island above, i would prefer a coastal resort because of the additional time/hassle of getting on islands.

Any other suggestions?

Have a look at Fishermans village resort, Haad Chao Samran, general vicinity of Cha Am, a very quiet place, nice tranquil setting right on the beach.
