First Time Tourist Visa To Canada

Dear All,

I need some advise before I make decision to apply tourist visa to Canada.

I've applied the job in a restaurant in Canada and they contacted me and we had conversation for the job details.

They are a well organized family business and I am interested to take a chance.

I want to apply for a tourist visa by myself first, then go and see if this job work with me.

Is there a chance to apply the tourist visa by my own as a Thai woman? I have work here and can get the letter from my work included the vacation leave letter. I wonder how much money do I need to show in my bank account?

I've been to some countries but had an invitation letters always but this time I have to go all by myself.

Please advise how much chance to get a visa for Thai woman going alone as a tourist for the first time in Canada?
