Good Experience With Air Conditioning Company

Featured Replies

We just bought ACs for a very large room, after estimates of around 60k baht. Luckily, a Thai friend clued us into a wonderful little company that sells and installs air conditioners. It's called Taksin Group (no relation to the Thaksin family...so leave your red shirts at home), and it is located on the super highway near Wat Jet Yod. After an inspection of the premises, they warned us against over-dimensioning and spending unnecessarily, and designed a solution with two Mitsubishi units for 33,000 baht. The installers were real craftsmen and the outside facade actually looks better, due to their work. They do car AC systems too. The drawback is that they have limited knowledge in English, so get a Thai friend to call. Their number is 053-126008.

Thanks for the report. Do you know the model numbers or the respective BTU outputs of the A/C's installed?

Sure...Mitsubishi Heavy Duty Super Model SRK 13CHV. 13000 BTUs. Price included a fairly complex bit of carpentry work on the facades.

Soundss like a good deal, congratulations. Think I'll swing buy for a bid on a new house I'll be building. Again thanks for sharing.
