February 17, 200917 yr We just bought ACs for a very large room, after estimates of around 60k baht. Luckily, a Thai friend clued us into a wonderful little company that sells and installs air conditioners. It's called Taksin Group (no relation to the Thaksin family...so leave your red shirts at home), and it is located on the super highway near Wat Jet Yod. After an inspection of the premises, they warned us against over-dimensioning and spending unnecessarily, and designed a solution with two Mitsubishi units for 33,000 baht. The installers were real craftsmen and the outside facade actually looks better, due to their work. They do car AC systems too. The drawback is that they have limited knowledge in English, so get a Thai friend to call. Their number is 053-126008.

Do you know the model numbers or the respective BTU outputs of the A/C's installed?
