From Vdo To Dvd

Featured Replies

I've got this VDO and would like to copy it to a DVD.

Where can that be done?

Thanks

Nienke

Not sure what a VDO is (and googling it did not help), but there is a little shop on the ground floor at the back of Panthip Plaza that does all kinds of copying from different formats to others. I've used them a number of times, always with satisfaction.

I'm going to assume she is referring to VCD but not sure why it would need converted since most DVD players will do VCD also. Anyway, here is a free multi-format converter > AVS Video Converter

Possibly she is referring to a tape (VHS) and needs put on DVD.

Thanks.

Where exactly on the ground floor of PP? Name shop, maybe?

And from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/VDO

VDO may refer to:

* The Vertical dimension of occlusion, a measurement used in dentistry to establish to proper distance between the maxillary and mandibular dental arches.

* Siemens VDO

* Vincent D'Onofrio, an actor

* Video

You guessed the correct one of the four. :o:D

Yep I was referring to a tape (video) that needs to be put on a DVD.

Can't do it myself, as my video player has gone to heaven. :o

Don't know the name of the shop, but it is at the back, two or three shops to the left of the Bangkok Bank branch (as you face it). I was just there, by coincidence, and I noticed the biggest words on their sign in front are 'VDO conversion to DVD', so it sounds like you and they speak the same language. :o

Go to the more expensive place. you definitely get what you pay for. I have used both. 150 baht for an hour is the more expensive one I believe.
