Sorry as it has probably been asked a million times but i am confused and want to make sure I understand. I am Canadian and plan on going to Thailand in June this year and would like to stay as long as possible but I have no intent on working. Is my best or only option to apply for a Multiple entry tourist visa before i leave? I will get 60 days on arrival then i can extend for 30, border run for a new 60 day stamp and repeat this twice for a maximum of 9 months? and after that I can apply for a new tourist visa in Thailand or a neighbouring country and do so as many times as I wish? Thanks for any help :o

You can get a 3 entry tourist visa there is no multiple entry tourist visa.

The only other option if you are not over 50 is to go to school and study Thai lanquage 4 hours a week and get an ED visa. You would not have to leave the country getting extensions every 90 days at immigration. You can check one the adverts at the top ot this page for info.
