Pages Not Loading

Featured Replies

When i click any thread or post link the pages get stuck. Only thai visa logo and menus are loaded and visible and rest is just "loading" indefinedly. Need to click several times or hit refresh several times before the page opens fully. Stuck loading the ad bar under the menus?

Is it just me ?

What browser and version are you using?

I would recommend Firefox or Google Chrome instead of Microsoft Internet Explorer.

Firefox 3.0.6

Firefox 3.0.6

OK, good. Which ISP and package do you have?

Which operating system and version, Windows, Mac, Linux?

Also occurs for me sometimes using Firefox 3.0.6

Opening the same post in IE, no problem.

WinXP SP3, valid copy.

it also occurs to me from time to time, and if you look at your source the logo loads, the menu loads, then it gets stuck on the google ad... Its only happens from time to time, and when it happens it happens in IE 7, FireFox 3, Chrome... Tried them all...

Having your google ads at the bottom of the html and replacing a <div id> once the JS loads would have all theses problems go away, its so simple to solve I can't believe you guys are not doing it. In cases where for what ever reason the google won't load the content still will... Your current setup if google doesn't load the rest of the content does not (or takes forever 2+ minutes)....

Yeah i know, would not think nothing of it if this would happen in Thailand :o Maybe more to do with FF 3.0.6 and loading ads ?

Can you install Firebug addon for Firefox and turn on "Net" panel for thaivisa?

It will give you nice, graphical representation of how the page loads and which elements slow it down.

When I tried it a few days ago it the forum was working ok, most delays were caused by getting all the little icons and images from Thaivisa server, not by google. It was just slow day on True.

If it's definitely google, install Adblock addon and manually add "filters" for all those google-analytics and googleadservices and what not (you can get their urls from Firebug). Firefox will never try to contact them again.

Seriously,if i have to press "Refresh" one more time,i am going to go crazy! :o:D

I did have adblock on and off and same same. Also not in True network at that time. What happened was that the pages did not load at all but got stuck after loading the meny bars on the top. Just running or "loading" 30 mins and nothing happening. Only way was to keep hitting refresh as long as it went thru and load the page.

Anyways it seems to be better now for several days already so maybe the problem has been solved.
