The global news about the economy is so GRIM that I find it a major downer just watching the standard news networks (Fox, BBC, CNN, etc.) or even newspaper websites. And yet I am rather addicted to news, good or bad. I am trying to cut down, getting depressed isn't going to help anything. How do you cope with all the BAD NEWS? samuibeachcomber Posted February 24, 2009 Share Posted February 24, 2009 I know what you mean,for some reason bad news is addictive.the only thing to do if your serious is to keep the tv turned off,dont read newspapers and stay away from some TV topics.nearly as difficult as giving up smoking for some.good luck. I don't have tv ***edit for clarification--I do actually have a television but no antenna, no cable and no satellite hooked up.
