International License here in UK is about £5 for 1 year from Post office, can't be much more if you are in Thailand. :o

About THB 600 or there abouts.....docus you need your Thai 5 year DL and some photos

If in Bangkok, you have to go the main vehicle and driver licensing office which is a 10 minute walk from Morchit BTS. Take your Thai licence and passport with signed copies, some pics of yourself and any other docs you think might be requested but I can't remember any others being needed, plus some cash - I think it was around B500-1,000. They provide a friendly service and do it on the spot within a few minutes. The main difficulty is finding the right office within the massive complex of buildings. Don't know if or where int'l licenses are available in the provinces - possibly at the main provincial branches of the vehicle and driver licensing dept.
