Ryanair, like Airasia - you get what you pay for.

I think he's a credit to Ireland - finally forced the previous monopoly airline, Aer Lingus, to reduce its fares to compete. And he's right, who gets on a plane with less than £1 in their pocket?

I do! As soon as I get to security, I put all my change (+house/car keys) in a ziplock bag and place in my carry-on bag, which will go in the overhead locker. I have left the country of that currency! I would still have my wallet on me, so, OK if it takes a Credit Card swipe...... This way I normally get through security without a single bleep from the alarms.

OK, On Cebu Pacific, I do carry a selection of small Baht and Pesos notes, so I can buy coffee and snacks, as they too charge, and I have no problem with them doing that.
