I flight from Bangkok to Hanoi on 6th March/2009 so I plan go Bangkok 3 days before to get tourist Visa from Vietnam embassy. I want ask something about question 10 on aplication form: Name,address of your contact in Vietnam (organization or individual) The problem is that I haven't book yet hotel to stay because I plan to do it when I arrive in Hanoi airport. I stay 2 days in Hanoi and 5 days in Saigon,then I flight back to Thailand from Saigon. Is there any problem for to get my tourist visa without hotel reservation? Thank you

Thank you very much. I already made hotel reservation with out to confirm the payment. And I printed out. So if they ask me hotel booking I have! Yes I will ask to get my visa in 1 day, but I think I have to pay some extra money. Im not sure how much.

In the 14 years that I have been living on and off in Vietnam, I have never, ever been asked to show proof of a hotel booking. Look at it this way: Vietnam is awash with back-packers; they tend to arrive without a booking (and without a clue )

I ask big big sorry. I will never post again. Im married with Thai woman too. I live nearly 5 years here and I never had problems with local people here. It's because sometimes Im press or stress and I can write something wrong. I see and hear many bad things everyday, but anyway this is the life, nowhere is perfect in the world.Sorry again.
