Paint In Old Houses

Hello was woundering if anone knows when they stoped using lead paint on walls in thailand and if it is dangerous if it is not airborn?

You'd probably have to lick the walls for a 100 years before you'd die. I thought Thais painted the house once when new then demolished it 25 years later!!

Sanding it down will help shorten the 100 years

A few years ago you used to be able to buy a paint in the UK made by a company called "Magnet" so it may still be being used in Thailand?
