Hi All

I've been using tourist visas for the last 3 years. Travelling to Laos every 6 months and doing a visa run every 60 days after and then a 30 day extension.

My questions are:

Is there a way to obtain a one year visa without going back to UK?

Is there a better solution?

How old are you? If 50+ and have financial resources, pension or cash in Thai bank, you can convert your tourist visa into a Non-Immigrant visa at immigration and then to a retirement extension of stay good for 1 year.

As said, Age? Thai Wife? You could always study Thai at one of the schools at the top of this page.
