Lost in LOS Posted March 17, 2009 Share Posted March 17, 2009 I used to be able to watch and save clips sent by email on my windows media player. I now have windows media player 11, the latest i think, and i can watch the clip but the save as button is now grayed out. is there a way to may this work or save the clip? thanks in advance Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
webfact Posted March 17, 2009 Share Posted March 17, 2009 (edited) My first guess it has something to do with the DRM (Digital Rights Management) protection. My suggestion - If you run XP, downgrade to WMP 10, delete your DRM directory and re-individualize. It might solve this issue i am using vista. after clicking on the file in the email it will let me save it or download it but i dont want to save it if i dont want it. i used to just open it and if i liked it click the save as button but not that is gone.
