Im looking to find the cheapest way to phone the UK from my thai house phone. I have heard about numbers which are prefixed on to the UK telephone number which reduce the price per minute to around 7p per minute but are there any companies where you pre-pay them every month and use their code before dialling the number to get an even cheaper rate? A friend of mine used to use a service similar to this to call her friend in the Philippines.

This does not work from Thailand to UK but does work for free calls to land lines and mobiles from UK to Thailand.

Give link to your friends/family and they get 500 mins a month free, to call you in Thailand.

There's many different prepaid International Phone Cards available at bookshops that will give you cheap rate calls.

If you have a computer use skype once you have signed on which is free you can call from your computer to any UK landline for a flat fee of £2.95 per month after you have paid this you get free unlimited calls its great value, Although you use your computer at this end with either a plug in skype phone or just a cheap microphone and speakers. You can call direct to people’s ordinary phones. We have saved a fortune doing this. Quality is fantastic, Hope that helps.

Here is my gift to you... 02 615 5666, then you will get the menu for thai and english, then it asks you to dial your number as usual 001 44...

One baht per minute. It's all we use in the office for LD calls.
