Thank you Sumrit for the PM and Borodave for the good advice. I got up at 3am UK and got to talk to someone at the visa section in the embassy. Somewhat surprised at the delay of our application she said they will start looking at our file today and asked me to contact VFS on Wednesday or Thursday. Hope it's the answer we are looking for. Wednesday will be 15 weeks.

I don't know if it's the same time every day but for those looking on the VFS website it was updated at about 10-30 am Thai time yesterday.

The ones we've had on this thread have, I think, all involved people who are having babies and are coming close to the time limit after which they they can't fly. If there were any other reasons that somebody remembers/knows of they'll post it.

1 case i read was death in the immediate family and he received it same day but they ask for proof of death certificate

but i would think that things should speed up so i would say 29th july.

Just faxed over my letter and further supporting documents to the Embassy. Thing is does it HAVE to be faxed in Office hours? I sent around 5.30 pm Thai time as I am in the UK. Does anyone know if they should still get it?
