Going to be arriving in Bangkok on the 3rd and would like to watch the Aintree Grand National on the 4th. Would Gullivers be an ok place to watch it with the commentary ON or should i look elsewhere?

Look elsewhere. Gulliver's only has commentary for large events that are shown on the projection screen. I can't imagine anywhere will be showing this unless you ask, and even then I don't know how likely it is that they'll be able to pick it up.

I have never seen the Grand National broadcast live, whilst I have lived here (over 10 years)

The best I have done is seen a rerun of the last couple of fences on BBC Sport

It used to be carried live on Star Sports but they dropped it without explanation 4 or 5 years ago. I presume it was something to do with rights. It usually is these days.

I've scanned through all the channels each year since... and nothing. My (Thai) family enjoyed it as much as I did.

Truesport had the dubai cup the other day.as usual with true ,the listings are all guess work.i can see them showing it without letting any f ucker know about it.
