Car In Thai Name

Do you maybe know if it is possible to buy a car in a Thai name if that person does not have a car driving license?/

Yes, if it is your Thai wife (G/F??) and you show your drivers license and have insurance. In the case where you pay cash for the car you can pretty much put the in whoever name.

i thought it was not possible without the resisency letter from the immigration. I will be paying cash and have a non immigrant o visa

No.It can be in your name.

Many Thais will come up with many reasons why it should be in their name. I wonder why?
