Windows Media Center, No Internet Tv Available

Recommended Posts

I am playing around with Windows Media Center and want to watch internet TV.

WMC is telling me "No internet TV available for Thailand".

I have now changed all localization settings in Windows control panel to USA instead, but somehow I think their server see my IP address as coming from Thailand.

Any way around this "block"?

Changing Localization isn't anything like a proxy, it's just a simple setting in Windows.

So that should be discussable here.

When I had this in Holland, I got the dutch channels, only really changeable by a re-install

To change to USA channels, it means a re-install, and from the start setting it as a US based computer

Then it should work.

However, considering the speeds here, you're not gonna watch a lot

As is a proxy just a simple setting in your browser :D

Proxies work great to watch your home TV, dear mod's and admin, just read all our posts you have deleted before :o

I can watch any Dutch channel over here (on Maxnet 4Mb Premier)

* for live TV : slingbox

* for recording : www.onlineopnemen.nl

Both work fine, even without proxies !
