Im going to thailand in about 2 months and plan to get a Triple Entry Tourist Visa before I leave from the consulate here in Vancouver. The website says :

"For both double and triple-entry visas, you must use the last visa within six months from the date of the first visa's issue. For example, if your original double/triple entry visa was issued on 1 January, you must use all entries of your visa by 30 June of the same year."

Does this mean I have to use the last visa within 6 months of when I recieve the visa here in Canada, or within 6 months of when i first enter thailand on the first visa? thanks

you have to enter Thailand for the last time 6 months after the date of issue of the visa in Canada.

Your tourist visa will have a use by (actually termed "enter before") date printed on the visa sticker. This will be exactly 6 months from when you applied. If you enter for the 3rd time on the last valid date of your visa, you can get a total of 9 months including your last 30 day visa extension.

And the last valid date will be the day before the date on visa.
