Hi.

I am looking for a software that emulates a Sony PlayStation II. To be precise, i need one single game to work - "Burnout 3: Takedown". I have a working emulator for PSone but that game is not available for that platform.

There are a number of such emulators but i'm running Linux (Ubuntu) and i don't want to go through the hassle of having to download and install (which is sometimes a b!tch on Linux!) a dozen programs to find that none does the job.

So i'll ask you - anyone knows of such software that is able to play that one game flawlessly on a Linux distro? Alternative a X-Box emulator, if such exists (that game is also available for X-Box).

I was going to recommend PCX2; but checking the compatability page resulted in finding out that your game only gets to the 'loading' screen.

Unforturnately there doesn't seem to be any Xbox emulator; there's a cxbx that was started in 2004 and had some more work done to it in '08, but doesn't seem to play many games...
