Really depends on what type of film you want to see. There is a lot of rubbish out there but also a lot of very good stuff. In the last 10 years Thai films have had a bit of a resurgence with many gaining international awards and being at international film festivals. check out this very good english language blog about thai films http://thaifilmjournal.blogspot.com/ I am a bit of a thai film buff so feel free to ask any questions.
