I certainly hope that would not happen; but it's tough to predict the reaction of 7000 young men who've been away from all of the ... umm ... attractions of a town like Pattaya for so long, when their access to same is denied. Pretty large open area behind Big C, up from Bangkok Bank on Second road. Lots of free water for the troops and also Red Shirts for sale! Looks like they plan Hi Jinks at the weekend, hope they do not plan a march down Soi 6 as it may interfere with the sporting activities............................Super 14 Rugby that is. Not only that there was talk of them in an interview on Thai TV this morning, disrupting the airport services in an effort to screw up the Asian meeting. Perhaps we should have a "riot kit" in case the worse happens and it is not safe (or convenient) to leave the house. Show video reports on happenings at Pratumnak Hill, mob trying to overturn Police support trucks, also mentions problems at Pattaya Nua/Big C site. Looks like Asean delegates flew in via Choppers.
