Apple Store Thailand

If you have not tried the Apple store Thailand - I highly recommend it for fast delivery to your door.

I ordered some items yesterday at 2pm (all the items marked ships within 24 hours ie in stock). By 4pm yesterday I got the email with the DHL shipping number (Free shipping by dhl btw).

11:30am today delivered to my door in BKK. Pretty impressive and of course no import charges etc. from Apple store.

No more running round the Apple resellers in BKK trying to find somewhere that has stock......

And don't forget the education discount. should you or the mrs work/study at uni.

Might want to clarify you mean the online store.

I can confirm this. A buddy ordered the new Mac Mini before they were even in Mac store here. It came straight from China via DHL. Tracking number and no duty fees.

Ordering online seems to have finally arrived in Thailand.

Looks to me that anyone can order from the education discount store without having to give evidence to Apple of Uni ID card etc. You can only order 1 computer per year or something from the store.

Wow, that would be pretty incredible. It's usually at least 10% savings. Would make Macs downright cheap.

Ive often see this option mentioned on Apple Users forums , but I all ways assumed you had to show some sort of '' evidence '' , has any one here purchased an Apple Mac with the education discount , any where ? , and what if any thing did you have to provide , it would be great if it can be done online here , with no evidence :D

Buying software online from the Thailand site is a little more expensive than the US site but I guess that is to be expected. How does price compare on hardware?
