It appears (so far, anyway) that Truvisions will be showing only NY Yankee games on ESPN channel 64. The 1st two games this weekend and Friday the 17th were/are Yankee games...

Last year True TV started the same way (Yankees-only) and only broadcast a few non-NY games much later in the season. I'd like to think they changed the NY-only policy because of viewers complaints....

I don't mind a proportionate # of NY games but can't go thru another season like last year. I reckon if you're a Yankee fan you'll be happy though...

I've asked True TV what their policy/schedule is this season but have received no answer as yet. If they reply it's Yankees-only again I'll let you guys know. I'll be sending a strong message of complaint and urge everyone who feels the same to do so too...

ESPN sucks but you're not going to be able to fix that problem. The solution is http://www.mlb.com/mediacenter/index.jsp , which isn't free but is a pretty good service for a baseball junkie who has an internet connection with sufficient bandwidth. There you can watch whatever game you want on every day of the season (no games are blacked-out during either the regular season or post-season if your IP address is outside the USA, Canada, and Japan). Video quality ranges from passable to near-HighDef depending upon how fast of an internet connection you are able to get to sites in the US.

Thanks OP. I'd gladly pay the fee but my TOT connection is far too slow for watching that feed.

I guess It's Yankees AGAIN this year. BARF...

Actually, I have a reasonably OK internet connection and truthfully it took a lot of playing around to get it to work well. It seems that their viewer, in it's default configuration, is a bit of a disaster with less than perfect internet connections. Their service seems to be over-optimized for cases where the end user has a high-spec computer and line speed sufficient line to support HD quality streaming video. It's great once you get it going though - provided that your ISP doesn't start cutting your bandwidth down to something less than about 600 kbs.
