Temples In Bangkok

Featured Replies

My wife and I will be in Bangkok for three days in mid February. We are Buddhists and wish to visit some of the temples while there. I would appreciate any suggestions as to the most interesting Temples to visit.

Cheers,

Hi Lofu,

I don't spend much time in Bangkok so specifics on temples I'm a bit short on. However I do know that if you want a unique and photogenic view of many temples, and the city and bridges, etc, you must see it from the river.

There's several tour boats, as well as those who are part of the transit system that stop and pickup/drop passengers all along the river.

I apoligise for being short on specifics, but here's a few links to get you started:

http://www.thailandguru.com/transport-boats.html (annoying java on this page :D )

Hope you have a great time. :o
