I just changed my plane ticket from thailand to brazil.

I thought about training for a month and a half here:

http://www.muaythai-hillcamp.com/costs.html

But I've seen too much racism in this forum, and thus I made the choice to go to train in brazil rather than thailand. Racism in thailand is not just something spread in the population, like the dual pricing thing, but it is also institutionalized through laws, like the one that forbid farang to own land. I also read some astonishing post in this forum, loaded with hatred and racism, and the OP didn't complain, so I started to think that racism and hate for foreigners are a common thing in thailand: If thais don't want my money, I'm not not going to pray them to accept it. And I'm going to give the same advice to all my friends.

Moreover I'm REALLY REALLY sorry that back in 2004 I give some of my spare time through my organization (a part of the red cross) to help Thailand in a moment of need. At the next tsunami I simply won't care, and the next time I'll meet one of the many immigrant Thais here in Europe, like a cleaner, I'll throw a piece of paper in front of him just to show disrespect.

Plus I dislike alcool, prostitution (especially the child prostitution), ladyboy and excessive nightlife. I'm cool with them, and I also like to party, but It looks like prostitution is the Thai's national product.

When in Rio pop into the Help nightclub and see what nightlife in Rio is like.......

I choosed on purpose a camp in the middle of the forest to avoid such things, but if trainers will bring with them alcool for an example, I won't be able to do nothing.

Fair enough. Good look in Brazil. Let us know how the Brazilian ladyboys compare... whistling.gif

Less racist for sure, I seriously doubt that any poor country is more racist than thailand.

I can understand your perspective.....

On the other hand, you'll get alot of these problems in Brasil, too! :o

Many developed nations too, though it's just deeper underground.

However, with that hard-lined perspective, I think you are making the right choice to go to Brasil. May find yourself with a ticket out of there soon as well.

As this is a troll topic clearly designed to be insulting towards Thai people and Thailand in general, as well as incite useless arguments...
