Hi

My Thai fiance is trying to get a TB test done, but she had been told that she must have one after we are married if she want's to settle in the UK. Anyone got any info on this assistance much appreciated.

Sorry i am just wanting to confirm the wording on this.

The TB test can be done before or 'after' the Marriage, as long as it is still valid at the time of the application for a settlement Visa. The TB test once completed is valid for 6 months.

Are you marrying in Bangkok/UK be more specific ?

As in both cases you may get the chest x ray either done before or after you are married.

If you are entering as the UK as the fiancee then obviously you need a valid TB Certificate to enter the UK.
