AceCafe
I'm casting this net for a friend hoping someone can confirm what I think. The ex wife has dual Nationality (Thai/UK) but has been living back here for approx 10 years. Her UK passport has long since expired (approx 5 years). I am presuming she can just go to the Embassy here and simply get it renewed...... yes? She (as per norm from how I remember 20 years ago!) is worried and keeps throwing up "if's" and "but's". Can anyone out there clarify? Thank you.
ubonjoe
If the UK is like most countries she is still a citizen even though she has remained out of the country a number of years. For info on getting passports see this webpage on embassy website. http://ukinthailand.fco.gov.uk/en/passports/
